AI Strategy Advisory for Executives & Business Leaders
For CEOs, founders, COOs, division heads, business owners, and non-technical managers making AI decisions for the first time — or making them better. Strategy sessions, roadmap reviews, vendor evaluation, board literacy, and leadership training. Every session produces a written artifact you keep.
What we cover
Five focus areas under the same hourly rate. Same senior practitioner across all of them. Pick what fits; book per session or per series.
Executive AI Advisory (1:1)
Strategy sessions with a senior practitioner on AI direction, build-vs-buy decisions, vendor evaluation, prioritization, and risk. Per-session or short retainer.
AI Strategy Workshop
Half-day or full-day working session with your leadership team. Outcome: a written, prioritized AI roadmap with rough effort/cost sizing the team agrees on.
Board AI Advisory
For boards that need AI literacy, an oversight framework, and an honest read on what the company should and shouldn't be doing with AI. Quarterly or as needed.
AI Roadmap Review
A read on your existing AI strategy or in-flight initiative — what's working, what's not, what to fix. Single session or short series.
AI Literacy for Leadership
Multi-session training for non-technical executives, managers, and staff. What AI can and can't do, how to evaluate vendors, how to recognize bullshit. Typically 2–4 sessions.
Who this is for
- • CEOs, founders, and presidents trying to figure out where AI fits in the business before signing the next quarterly plan
- • COOs and division heads evaluating AI vendors, considering an internal build, or tracking an in-flight AI project
- • Boards that want AI literacy and a credible oversight framework — no slide decks that age out in three months
- • Business owners and managers running operations who want to understand what AI actually changes for their workflow before they commit budget
- • Anyone who's been burned by an "AI strategy" consultant before and wants a senior practitioner who'll tell them when a project doesn't make sense
What you get
- A senior practitioner, every session. Not a junior on a script. Real experience with production AI, not slideware.
- A written artifact for every paid hour. Session recap with decisions and next steps; workshop output as a prioritized roadmap; board session as an oversight framework. You can use it without us.
- No precondition. Advisory deliverables are yours; you can take them to another vendor for implementation. No bait-and-switch into a productized engagement.
- Honest direction.Including "don't do this AI project" or "use vendor X" when that's the right call.
Pricing
$600 per hour. Same rate across all five focus areas. Same rate as Technical Advisory.
Single hourly rate; no surge pricing for "senior" vs. "principal" tiers because there's one practitioner. Workshops priced as the workshop length; roadmap reviews quoted as a short series.
FAQ
I'm not technical. Will I follow the conversation?
Yes. The whole point of this service is to make AI decisions approachable for non-technical leaders. No jargon for jargon's sake; we use plain language and pictures where helpful. If you can describe your business, we can have a useful conversation.
Do I have to commit to a retainer?
No. Per-session is the default. Retainers exist for engagements that benefit from continuity (e.g. a multi-month vendor evaluation), but you book hour by hour unless we both think a retainer fits.
What do I actually walk away with?
A written artifact, every paid session. For strategy sessions: a session recap with decisions and next steps. For workshops: a prioritized AI roadmap document. For board sessions: an oversight framework with concrete questions to ask. For roadmap reviews: a written assessment with findings and recommendations.
Will you actually tell me when an AI project is a bad idea?
Yes. We're not commission-driven sales — there's no incentive for us to push you toward a build that doesn't make sense for your business. If the right answer is 'don't do this' or 'do it with off-the-shelf vendor X', that's what we'll say. Better to spend an hour learning that than a year regretting it.
Can the same person do training for my whole leadership team?
Yes. AI Literacy for Leadership is structured as 2–4 sessions for a leadership cohort. Same practitioner each session; consistent narrative through the series.
Is the first conversation really free?
Yes. 30–45 minutes, real human, real questions. Goal is to figure out if there's a fit. If there's not, no charge and we point you somewhere useful. If there is, we book a paid session.
Ready for an honest read on your AI direction?
First conversation is free, 30–45 minutes. No pressure. No demo theater.
